Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to LessonGrid, including the mobile app, website, exports, generated materials, secure sharing, and any current or future paid features.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using LessonGrid, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Accounts and access

  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You may not impersonate another person or organization.
  • We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe an account is being misused or used in violation of these Terms.

3. Launch access and future paid features

  • LessonGrid is currently offered free during launch while we grow adoption.
  • We may introduce optional paid features, credits, or in-app purchases later.
  • If paid features are introduced in the future, additional billing and renewal terms may apply at that time.
  • Any future purchases through Apple App Store or Google Play would be billed and managed by the applicable store.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use LessonGrid in a way that violates applicable law or school policy.
  • Attempt to bypass authentication, entitlement checks, or secure sharing controls.
  • Use the service to infringe intellectual property rights or distribute unlawful content.
  • Probe, attack, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service except where expressly permitted by law.

5. Generated class materials and instructional content

LessonGrid may provide generated class materials, including lesson outlines, worksheets, vocabulary support, or related instructional content. These materials are intended to help educators prepare and do not replace professional judgment.

You are responsible for reviewing exported plans, generated materials, standards alignment, and any classroom use before relying on them with students or families.

6. Service availability

We aim to keep LessonGrid available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including beta or launch-stage features such as video pipelines or AI-assisted materials.

7. Liability and disclaimers

LessonGrid is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LessonGrid is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the service.
